After 13 successful years at the The Midland Hotel in Manchester, where Mark started as a Commis Chef before grafting his way to to head chef of the brasserie, Mark eventually moved on to Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa, former stomping ground of celebrity chef Aiden Byrne, before deciding ultimately to open his very own Bar & Grill.
Whilst working at The Midland Hotel Emma met her partner Mark whilst she was working within Simon Rogans restaurant, Mr Coopers House and Garden. Emma worked as Pastry Chef. Emma is now Jack's Bar & Grill Co-owner and Head pastry chef.
Mark & Emma went on to have a lovely little boy called Jack and that is where the story starts. Independent restaurant’s are a rare breed which makes us, as a family run business, more determined to succeed.
